Role Overview
Avyon Consulting Group is seeking a Unity Developer to build immersive, interactive environments for defense customers. You'll create simulations, training tools, and visualization platforms that help government users understand and interact with complex systems. If you think in 3D and ship fast, this is your seat.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive 3D applications and simulations using Unity
- Build real-time visualization tools for defense and government use cases
- Integrate Unity applications with backend systems, APIs, and data feeds
- Optimize performance for various platforms and deployment environments
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and government stakeholders to define product direction
- Prototype rapidly and iterate based on user feedback and mission requirements
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience developing in Unity (C#)
- Strong understanding of 3D graphics, physics engines, and real-time rendering
- Experience shipping complete applications, not just prototypes
- Ability to work across the stack when needed
- Self-directed with strong problem-solving skills
- US Citizenship required
- AR/VR development experience (Oculus, HoloLens, or similar) preferred
- Familiarity with military training and simulation environments preferred
