Required former or current US Army Reserve or National Guard Field Grade Officer/Field Grade Warrant Officer (CW4/CW5/MAJ/LTC/COL) with at least fifteen (15) years of Aviation flight/combat operations experience is required. Experience as a Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP) in the AH-64D/E or Kiowa Warrior is desired. CGSC/ILE graduate or Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course is required for prior or current US Army Reserve or National Guard Officers and Warrant Officers. Senior or Master rated Aviator required. Attack or Assault Battalion Staff experience desired. Former Battalion Command is preferred

Extensive experience working in capability management /combat developments is required. Experience in planning, executing and facilitating Joint Working Groups. Experience as a Team Lead conducting Aviation studies and/or operational test events with experience in developing capabilities and evaluating technologies. The primary author of a Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) approved JCIDS document is preferred. Participation as a direct team member in an Army Aviation Capability Based Assessment (CBA) for attack or reconnaissance aircraft is preferred. Must be capable of independent work based on broad senior-level guidance to produce completed white papers, concept papers, requirements documents, operational views, and other written products as required within the scope of the contract. Must be able to review and edit products to ensure they are written at the graduate level as normally expected of the Army Command and General Staff College (Intermediate Level Education (ILE), the Army Warrant Officer Staff Course (WOILE). SECRET clearance required.
