Aviation Military Analyst (UAS)

At least fifteen (15) years of Army Aviation operations experience as the field grade officer or field-grade warrant officer or Senior NCO (SGM). CGSC/ILE graduate or Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course is required for prior Officers and Warrant Officers. Prior SGMs or current Reserve or National Guard SGMs require the requisite NCO professional Development course (Sergeants Major Course). Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required at hire. Instructor pilot/Operator qualification in manned/unmanned aircraft with a Master Aviator rating or Master Aircrew for UAS. Operational experience in tactical aviation formations executing UAS operations (e.g. AH-64/RQ-7, MQ-1 aviator/operator, MUM-T experience, MQ-1/RQ-7 unit S-3/TACOPS officer.

Experience working in combat developments is required. Experience in planning, executing and facilitating DOTMLPF-P assessments and Joint Working Groups. Experience in modelling and simulation (M&S) efforts for vertical lift aircraft and fixed-wing aircraft. Experience with JCIDS technical writing is required. Previous Army Aviation Company or higher command positions preferred. Recent experience in conducting experiments, concept development and scenarios is desired. Experience participating in source selection committees for Joint or Army Aviation systems and the capability development experience taking the system through testing and fielding is highly desired. Experience in training Aviation formations through Division, Corps and Theater staff, in a high OPTEMPO, combat environment is desired. An operational deployment to a theatre of operations is desired. Participation in Army level wargames such as Unified Quest or Challenge, or similar wargames is preferred. Must be capable of independent work based on broad senior-level guidance to produce completed white papers, concept papers, requirements documents, operational views, and other written products as required within the scope of the contract. Must be able to review and edit products to ensure they are written at the graduate level as normally expected of the Army Command and General Staff College (Intermediate Level Education (ILE), the Army Warrant Officer Staff Course (WOILE), or NCO professional Development courses (Senior Leaders Course (SLC), Master Leaders Course (MLC), Sergeants Major Course)
